We've been going to Kanpai regularly for the past 4 months and they still get 5 stars! Their escolar (butterfish) will probably always be my #1 sushi and I've been a sushi aficionado for many years now. I enjoy a good sushi specialty roll every now and then to switch things up and their Snow White roll was much better than their Three Amigo roll. These past few visits, the server greets us by asking, "5 orders of escolar?" Yes, we are definitely hooked...

Inside: salmon, tuna, yellowtail, avocado
Outside: deep-fried in tempura batter, spicy mayo, unagi sauce
