This Starbucks Coffee can get pretty busy with its downtown Danville location on Hartz Avenue...they also offer the typical outdoor seating and there's lots of shade, so it's actually quite nice. It's just around the corner from tons of restaurants and boutiques, which makes it the perfect stop for a coffee break or a coffee destination. Great service, too!

Tully's Coffee has the BEST Matcha Green Tea Latte I've ever had in my life...mmm...YUM!!! They have a terrific location in the heart of downtown Pleasanton with an abundance of outdoor seating that they share with their neighbors High Tech Burrito and Cold Stone Creamery. It's quite a popular place for meetings and people watching. Too bad they don't stay open late...they close at 7pm on Sundays!
This Starbucks drive-thru is usually busy or busier, being located right off I-580 at Airway in Livermore. Sometimes it seems like it would be quicker to just go inside! They make really delicious frappuccinos here (I love it because they blend them well - no ice chunks!) and the staff is nice. There's outdoor seating, too...and they have a bookshelf inside from the library that sells hardcover books for $1 and softcover books for 50 cents! :)
P.S. They're the only Starbucks in Livermore that stays open late (till 10:30pm Sun-Thurs and till 11:30pm Fri-Sat). The only other one I know of that stays open later is the one in Dublin off I-580 and Hacienda by the IMAX movie theaters.
UPDATE 9/18/09: I've been enjoying my all-time favorite Starbucks cold drink all summer, courtesy of their $2 treat receipts...grande caramel frappuccino light with sugar-free caramel, double-blended, with whip and caramel sauce. Mmmmmmm!!!

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago and...WOW! They had the BEST Matcha Green Tea Latte I've ever had in my life...mmm...yum...I don't think I'll ever order another green tea latte anywhere but Tully's!

This is the BEST Starbucks I've been to, based on an overall rating of management, staff, cleanliness, drink quality and consistency, not to mention the beautiful vineyard setting. They also have lots of outdoor seating so you can enjoy the magnificent outdoors here. Kudos to the manager Eric for running such a great establishment!
UPDATE 9/22/09: Eric no longer works for Starbucks as he left to pursue a career in theater...we wish him the best...and we miss him!

Caramel Frappuccino Light w/sugar-free caramel and lite whip
Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino Light w/lite whip and extra sprinkles
Iced brewed coffee, no sweetener, lots of room for cream + Splenda
Vanilla Rooibos Tea Latte, no sweetener, add Splenda. Yummy!
Sugar-free Caramel Latte, add Splenda. Mmmmmmm...
I also wish they'd bring the Mocha Valencia back. Sure miss that orange and dark chocolate combination!
