Attention All Dog Owners!!!
If you are an owner of a dog that belongs to a “dangerous breed” category and you also have a small child please take this as a warning. Don’t leave your dog with the child unattended under any circumstances. Only a little moment was enough for the following to happen:

We were regulars at another Pet Food Express when we used to live in Brentwood...LOVE that people at the location on Lone Tree!
Finally visited this location since we live here now and decided to switch dog food. We found all the staff to be very helpful and friendly and ended up buying Canidae Grain Free ALS Formula.
Best thing about Pet Food Express is their "Buy 3, Get 1 Free" bonus, which they've had for years now and I'm glad they still offer that...we have lotsa doggie mouths to feed! :)
30-lb. bag $54.99 (if you buy 3, get 1 free, each bag is $41.24)

Four 30-lb. bags of Canidae ALS Grain Free Food: $179.39

Ryan Tulchinsky is an excellent trainer and in our experience, he is awesome at working with large, dominant breeds. We brought our two puppies to him back in 2002 and had private lessons with Ryan. These dogs turned out to be the BEST! Although it's partly genetics, it's also partly environment and I'm sure Ryan's training us as the owners allowed us to train our dogs properly.
He's also our trainer forever, meaning he's always been available for advice even long after the lessons were over. To me, that's priceless...

Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic - Loomis, CA

Dr. Cherrstrom is the BEST! We've been taking our dogs to him since 2004 and he really cares about the animals, but most of all he is a straight shooter with customers, doesn't overcharge or prescribe unnecessary treatment and we never feel like we are being taken advantage of...like many other vets.
That alone gives Loomis Basin 5 stars. An added bonus is their 24-hour emergency service...it's good to have available just in case you ever need it.

Dr. Popkin is THE vet to bring your dog to for OFA x-rays, bar none. I've taken my dogs to other vets (who are wonderful, by the way) but Dr. Popkin is one of the very few who will do x-rays without anesthesia.
You actually go with your dog to the x-ray room and help keep him/her still on the table. The doc takes x-rays, there's a little wait while they get developed and then he brings them back out to you and explains what he sees on the film. He's been right on his predictions on the ratings that come back from OFA, as well.
It's worth the drive...believe me. There's a reason why his office walls are plastered with dog show photos...everyone in the conformation world seems to go to him as well!
