Update from my last review: the chocolate and peanut butter cookie dough cheesecake was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too sweet...not only would I never order it again, I'm hesitant to even order any cheesecake from here. Dock 1/2 star for that.

Tonight we both tried some new dishes: he had the Chicken & Shrimp Jambalaya and I ordered the Roasted Vegetables & Goat Cheese Pizza. Both were AWESOME...the second time those dishes were brought out! The first time, his Jambalaya had a stuck-together wad of pasta about the size of an egg roll...shame on you, Cheesecake Factory cook! My pizza also didn't have the Kalamata olives or the yellow bell peppers the first time around. Oh and although I did ask our server if the pizza came with "fresh" tomatoes and she said yes...they weren't...there were stewed tomatoes on my pizza.

They got it right the second time around, but even though the manager came to our table to apologize, he didn't put his money where his mouth was...and not one cent was taken off our bill for the inconvenience of having both of our dinners re-done. Dock another 1/2 star for that.

We ate wheat bread while waiting for rounds 1 & 2 of our dinners!

Chicken & Shrimp Jambalaya $16.95

1st pizza, w/o yellow bell peppers & kalamata olives

Roasted Vegetables & Goat Cheese Pizza $11.95

Leftover pizza...guess I ate too much wheat bread while waiting.

Dinner for two including tax and tip: $36.72

If all else fails, you can always count on a good cheeseburger at the cheesecake factory...

A factory burger with melted cheddar cheese, tomato and grilled onions (which they forgot, but comped us a slice of cheesecake so that definitely made up for it!) on toasted brioche instead of sourdough + French fries and a side of ranch dressing = happiness in my tumminess!

Happy Hour: Monday-Friday, 4-6pm

We went back here for another happy hour meal and started off by sharing their delightful spicy ahi tempura roll...it was just as delicious as we remembered it to be last time!

Since we were pretty hungry and we both enjoyed their chopped salad, we decided not to split it and ordered two this time. We also tried something new, the BBQ pulled pork sliders...mmm...what a wonderful little warm brioche sandwich that comes plated in a trio. This meal will likely be repeated during our next visit!

This was our first visit here and we came during their "Happy Hour" (which I don't agree with because they don't have drink specials, so what exactly makes it "Happy"???) between 4-6pm on weekdays in the bar. At least there was no wait, at 5pm on a Monday afternoon.

The nice thing about Happy Hour (???) is you can get a mini-portion of a variety of dishes between $3-5 each. A hungry party of two will be quite full after sharing five dishes...with no room for cheesecake, unfortunately.

Here is my ranking order of the dishes we tried:

1. Ahi Tempura Roll ($4.95) - Absolutely, fantastically delicious!!! Why only three pieces...WHY??? Two people cannot share this dish well, but you can bet I will remember that next time it's MY turn to get two pieces!

2. Chopped Salad ($3.95) - Apples, bacon, blue cheese and corn make a yummy-licious salad. Loved the presentation as a "mountain" of salad. I will definitely order this again!

3. Avocado Egg Rolls ($3.95) - The tamarind-cashew dipping sauce can make anything delightful! At least this dish came with four pieces, unlike the Ahi Roll...

4. Fried Calamari ($3.95) - Garlic dip was good. The calamari breading was quite fragile and a lot of chunks fell off in the dip.

5. Roadside Sliders ($3.95) - Three sliders served with sliced pickles on a bed of lettuce. The grilled onions and ketchup were so very, extremely sparse on the li'l burgers, we had to ask for more. Of course, by the time the extra grilled onions were brought out, the burgers got a little cold. Had they been prepared right the first time, these would have been #3 on m list...oh, well.

Next time, we'll have to go back just to have some cheesecake!
